About

Something brought you here today

What happened to the joy you used to feel? Is pain from your past or worries about the future making it hard to enjoy the present? You wonder if you’ll ever feel happy again.

Imagine well-being in your life.

You wake up looking forward to your day. You feel good about yourself, confident and on the right path. Your relationships are filled with warmth, connection and understanding. Your anxiety and stress give way with the knowledge that you can manage life’s challenges.
Therapy can help.

Therapy is the place to explore all the thoughts and feelings you’ve been trying to make sense of on your own. A place to slow down, focus on you, and really look at what’s stopping you from living your best life.

Today is the day you begin to take back control in your life.

 Connection is a necessity

Having someone we trust who offers validation and support is essential to creating change. We all need to feel connected and valued by others, as connection allows us to feel a deeper sense of belonging.

If you’re reading this right now, I want you to know that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is that I get to connect with you on a level where we can work to elicit lasting change. This not only impacts your life, but mine as well.

Energy and support to help

I’ve been told by clients that my calming energy and supportive stance have been helpful to them in challenging moments. I strive to produce a warm and safe therapeutic space where you will feel well cared for and treated with the respect you deserve.

It is possible to overcome life’s obstacles to achieve personal freedom. It would be my privilege to work with you in finding new ways to cope more effectively, so you can create your best life.

About Me

I guess it’s only fair since I’ve challenged you to “unleash your inner goddess” and “find your superpower” that I should share a bit more about how I see myself from that perspective.

My work is often the place where I feel my inner goddess is most present. She shows up most often when I’m sharing an AH-HA moment with one of my clients. To know that I’ve had the privilege of being a part of such a seminal moment is the best feeling ever!

Someone asked me once, “What’s the best thing about being a therapist?”

For me, it’s that moment when I feel truly connected to a client whether it’s through a pleasant or painful exchange. My inner goddess allows me to be divinely connected not only to myself, but to others who are on this self-discovery journey as well.

Although I’ve not always been aware of my specific superpower, I have been aware of having it my whole life. My superpower is simply caring about people, as I’ve always had a huge desire to help them make sense of their lives so they can feel better.

I remember when I was a kid riding the bus to school and feeling compelled to sit with others who were sitting by themselves and not by choice. My compassion and empathy were evident to me even then.

I feel so fortunate to have found a career where my superpower can be utilized to its fullest extent.

On a more personal note

Prior to becoming a therapist, I had a fulfilling career in the arts working as a professional dancer, singer, actress.

Not only did I find myself helping my fellow artists manage their stress related to the unpredictable nature of show business, but it gave me a deeper understanding of how perfectionism can cloud our perception of self and rob us of self-satisfaction.

These days I’m happily married to my husband Holden and live an unassuming life with our sweet dog Jack. I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, watching HGTV, and snuggling with both my boys on a quiet night at home.
